Emma Watson is reported to have called time on her relationship with boyfriend Matthew Janney.

The 24-year-old former Harry Potter star is claimed by the Daily Mail to have broken up with the Oxford University rugby player a month ago - although they have apparently remained friends.

They had been dating for more than a year, though EmWat had deliberately kept things out of the public eye.

A spokesman for the actress apparently said the split was amicable and blamed the pressure of her work schedule.

She is currently shooting political drama Colonia Dignidad in Buenos Aires, with Daniel Bruhl and Julian Ovenden.
