Emma Watson Spooked By Stalker In The Woods

Emma Watson was left shaken after an encounter with a stalker while filming in the US, reports The Sun.

An insider told the paper that the man approached her and tried to hand her a letter while she was filming new movie Noah, in Oyster Bay, Long Island.

The Sun quotes the insider as saying: “The man managed to slip on to the set with some visitors and then approached her.

“She recognised him from hanging around outside her house and screamed.

“He took off into the woods and was chased by security and a couple of the tough stunt guys who also happen to be martial arts fighters.

“They caught up with him in the woods.

“Police were called and he was removed by security.

“It was really creepy. Emma was really shaken up and was given some time to compose herself.”

The paper reports that the man was warned about trespassing but not arrested.

The actress, whose latest movie is The Perks of Being a Wallflower, stars alongside Russell Crowe and Sir Anthony Hopkins in the new Biblical epic.

Emma, who has admitted that she finds managing fame difficult, has reportedly had a few encounters with stalkers in the past and has been assigned a bodyguard and police protection on previous occasions.
