The list of nominees in the major categories at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards have been announced, with the ceremony taking place on September 23.
Mad Men leads the pack with 17 nominations, and may potentially win Best Drama series for a record-breaking fifth year, while Downtown Abbey has picked up 16 nods.
