The trailer for the new Sherlock Holmes film has hit the internet.
And true to his word director Guy Ritchie seems to have completely revamped the pipe smoking character.
Holmes will be played by Robert Downey Jr while Jude Law plays his assistant Dr Watson.
Rachel McAdams and Mark Strong also star in the movie - which is due at the end of 2009.
In the trailer Downey Jr is shown using martial arts skills, boxing with his top off and handcuffed to a bed naked.
A comedy version of Sherlock Holmes is also in development with Sacha Baron Cohen and Will Ferrell rumoured for the key roles.
