The Guy Who Flashed His Bum At Eurovision Could Be Facing Jail Time
Well, that escalated quickly.
Eurovision: a time for glitter, camp, joy, a lot of bridal dresses (a 2017 quirk), a canon, fire, more fire, and a butt.
If you tuned in this Saturday (May 13) to watch the UK do not-terrible-for-once, you might have noticed something a little different to usual.
Yes, a man (why is it always a man?), draped in an Australian flag, rushed the stage and wiggled his bottom in front of a TV audience numbering in the hundreds of millions. Just a bit of harmless fun, right? Wrong.
Why? Because the guy who flashed his bum, real name Vitalii Sediuk – a famous Ukranian prankster who has also pulled stunts on Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio and more - could be facing jail time.
Sediuk has been detained for 72 hours and could face charges of hooliganism. The Ukranian minister for internal affairs, Arsen Avakov, wrote on Facebook: "This is a disgrace to the country. He will be able to exercise [his] 'hobby' in a prison cell in a temporary holding facility," according to BuzzFeed.
In case you missed it, this year's winner Salvador Sobral from Portugal stormed to victory with his love ballad 'Amar Pelos Dois'.
