Eve: 'Daniel Craig Would Be Amazing In Fifty Shades'

EXCLUSIVE! Rapper picks James Bond to star as Christian Grey...

Rapper Eve has revealed she feels Daniel Craig would be the ideal man to take on the role of Christian Grey in the forthcoming movie adaptation of raunchy novel, Fifty Shades of Grey.

The likes of Ryan Gosling and Channing Tatum have all been linked the part of the dominating businessman, with Eve throwing Craig’s name into the mix without hesitation.

Speaking to MTV News UK, the Grammy Award winning rapper-songwriter said: “Thing is, the dude in Fifty Shades of Grey is supposed to be twenty nine right but I don’t see him as young. I think Daniel Craig would be amazing in it 'cause he’s just hot”.

When quizzed who she feels would be the perfect leading lady to star opposite Craig as Anastasia Steele, Eve found it difficult to select a name – instead referencing female roles in her own industry.

Describing it as “horrible” and saying that the lack of women on the rap scene is “upsetting”, Eve explained:  “I think you know there needs to be more, a balance and I think there is too much testosterone in hip-hop right now, there needs to be more females.”

However, Eve is hoping to change that with her new album Lip Lock, which features a number of upcoming bubblin’ female artists.

She said: “There is a girl named Nacho who is on the album, a dude named Propain, Dawn Richards is on the album, Chrisette Michele, Juicy J, Pusha T, it’s a well-rounded record.”

The LP also includes a collaboration with the recently transformed Snoop Lion, with Eve adding: “I love Snoop Lion, I love Snoop Dog, I love Snoop, I think him as an artist, he’s been in the game forever.

“I’m so happy you know artistically I think he looks like he’s in a happy place.”

Eve's Lip Lock is released in the UK on June 3.
