Glasgow’s legendary music scene stretches across the whole spectrum from contemporary and classical to Celtic and Country. DJs such as Naeem, Paul N’Jie, Ray Woods, Kash, Illyus and Gavin Sommerville to name only a few, have pushed the urban sound for years and opened Glaswegian ears to the possibilities of the genre.
Urban music has become an integral part of the Glasgow club scene. Premier city centre venues such as Karbon, Bamboo, Kushion, The Tunnel and Common all have dedicated urban club nights and many have Urban rooms that are full every night they open.
