Russell Brand to Host 2009 VMAs

Russell Brand will host the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in New York.
The comedian-turned Hollywood star-turned mate of P Diddy, will return as host of the annual MTV ceremony for a second time.
In hosting last year’s VMAs, Brand ruffled a few feathers with his comments about the Jonas Brothers’ virginity and the upbringing of the Jackson family.
"This year will be a controversy-free festival of love and discrete orgasms," said Brand of his return VMAs appointment.
