Lady GaGa Shocks VMAs With Meat Dress

Following her beef bikini, GaGa wore a meaty dress complete with accessories...

Not one for being the shy and retiring type, Lady GaGa stunned those at last night's VMAs by wearing a dress made completely of meat.

The Poker Face singer, who hit the headlines last week for posing in a beef bikini for Japanese Vogue went one step further at last night's star-studded bash by donning a dress, hat, shoes and even a bag made of cuts of meat.

GaGa won eight moonmen at the ceremony held at Los Angeles's Nokia Theatre including the coveted Video of the Year gong for Bad Romance, presented to her by music legend Cher.

Lady G, real name Stefani Germanotta accepted the award wearing the meaty number and even joked: "I never thought I'd be asking Cher to hold my meat purse,"

As well as the meat dress, the Telephone hitmaker also wore a full-length gown by late designer Alexander McQueen complete with gold-feathered headdress and a black dress, also by the designer for later on in the evening.

She also revealed the name of her second studio LP at the bash, claiming it will be entitled Born This Way.

GaGa has hit Twitter since her VMAs triumph tweeting a picture of herself on the floor, still wearing her black gown with the message: "Too much poetry tonight, + grateful words to say. But u love u, + I love I, + we were #bornthisway"
