We’ve all experienced heartbreak in our lives, whether it’s from a relationship breakdown or from finding out that someone has been helping themselves to our chocolate in the fridge. Savage.

Though we consider ourselves pretty lucky that our ghosts of heartbreak past don’t follow us to the beach like the singletons on Ex On The Beach, we’ve always wondered how we should REALLY be dealing with the pain of a break-up.

Luckily, the series 9 cast are on-hand to give us all the answers and share their own broken-hearted stories.

Watch the Ex On The Beach 9 cast talk all things heartbreak in this exclusive video:

Explaining how she gets over being left brokenhearted in an exclusive chat with MTV, Made In Chelsea’s Daisy Robins admits that she turns to another lad to help her move on.

She says: “Oh, I call a boy straight after and make myself feel better, so yes, I’m a good old rebounder.”

We’ve all been there.

Rhianne Saxby has similar ideas, admitting: “(You should) definitely start seeing other people. You need to get your mind off that sh*t, you need to go focus on other people, you need to get on dates, you need some rebound.”

The cast have also been sharing their brutal break-up stories from past relationships, with Alicia Bradon revealing the worst way she’s ever been dumped: “The worst way someone has broken up with me is they were sleeping with a girl the night before.

“I got a text at, like, 10 o’clock the next night saying, ‘It’s over’. Nice one, you silly little div. Your loss.”

The Valleys star Natalee Harris has also experienced a nasty ditching, explaining: “The worst way someone’s broken up with me is a text message. Five years I was with him, five years, and he ended it with me over a text. That’s pretty, pretty sh*t.”

MTV

Not cool.

If you’re in need of some words of relationship advice, Bobby Ballard’s got just the message, telling MTV: “If I’m being honest, every relationship has its ups and downs, butyou’ve just got to cross that bridge when you get there.”
