Ex On The Beach star Megan McKenna has claimed that someone threw a glass at her during a club appearance in Northern Ireland.

Meg criticised the club on Twitter following her appearance, although she later deleted the tweet explaining that she loved the people of Northern Ireland and had just had a bad experience at Ruby’s in Strabane.

A spokesman for Megan has now explained what happened in the club last weekend, alleging that someone had thrown a glass up at the balcony where the reality TV star was watching the DJ.

Speaking to The Mirror, they claimed: “Myself and our Irish tour manager immediately demanded that we leave the club and go to sit in the car so that if we needed to take Megan to a hospital we would be best placed to do so from there.

“Megan was obviously extremely upset about the incident.”

Adding that the manager apparently asked her return to meet more fans despite already staying for the agreed length of time, the rep cleared up Meg’s tweets, saying: “Megan's tweets which were posted that evening were in no way reflective of her feelings to Northern Irish people or residents of Strabane.

“Megan was merely voicing her opinion of that particular club in Strabane, the unsympathetic staff and the group of club goers who caused her harm.”

We hope Megan is okay after the alleged incident.
