The Vamps, Union J Dish The Dirt On Their Exes!

To celebrate the launch of new MTV show Ex On The Beach, we find out how the boyband heartthrobs would deal with a former flame...

Dealing with exes is tricky – so with our brand new series Ex On The Beach coming up at the end of April, we spoke to boyband heartthrobs The Vamps and Union J to find out what they think is the best ways to cope with their former flames!

When it comes to calling it quits, those nice boys The Vamps all said they would break-up with someone in person, while Union J said they would do it by phone – ouch!

Talking about staying friends with former flames, The Vamps lads said it was dangerous at first, but then OK after a while, with James explaining: "If you were with someone for three years, the next day you can't go fishing together as friends."

Brad sarcastically added: "Fishing especially; it's very raunchy!"

Tristan reckons it's better not to see your ex at all otherwise: "It would be leading them on, you'd feel bad."

Meanwhile, over in Union J's camp, the boys all agree staying friends with an ex is just bad news, with Jaymi stating: "Get out – ex for a reason, jog on."

His bandmates all claimed that hooking up with an ex is a bad idea, with Jaymi even suggesting he would eBay his ex-partner's stuff!

However, JJ said: "I wouldn't do something which I wouldn't like being done to me."

Most of the boys said it's perfectly normal to stalk your ex online, making us feel better about our ourselves. However, Jaymi admitted: "I've not got good experiences with my exes, so I'm quite bitter clearly."

It's a good job Jaymi isn't part of Ex On The Beach, which hits MTV on April 22 at 10pm!
