Example Follows Coldplay's Example
The rapper/singer is going for a different sound on his new album...
Singer and rapper Example has said that he plans on making more band-inspired songs for his next album.
Professor Green’s best mate, known to his mum as Elliot Gleave, wants to approach each track as if he was part of a rock group, something completely different for what he’s known for.
He told The Daily Star:
"I’ve approached the new songs more like a band, like a Coldplay or Snow Patrol album. Every song is going to be a lot more epic, and while it’s gonna be poppy in the sense that it’s really catchy, I haven’t written it as a typical pop album.
"Song structures are a bit all over the place and all the lyrics are a lot darker, so it’s more grown up."
