Now Facebook Is Jumping On The Stories Bandwagon Like Instagram And Snapchat
Facebook are about to trial 'Messenger Day' which is basically another version of the Instagram and Snapchat story features
They say that imitation is the best form of flattery, so Snapchat people should be feeling very smug rn.
First Insta copied them by adding a 'stories' feature and it looks like Facebook are about to join the fun too.
Apparently there is a new extension for Messenger on the way called 'Messenger Day'.
The new feature will allow users to personalise, add stickers and all that kinda stuff to video. Yeah. Basically like Snapchat.
Like Snapchat, the vids self-destruct after 24 hours and the new feature apparently looks quite a lot like Snapchat too.
Interesting.
It's currently being trialled in Poland and a spokesperson said: "We know that people come to Messenger to share everyday moments with friends and family.
"In Poland we are running a small test of new ways for people to share those updates visually. We have nothing more to announce at this time."
What do you think? Will Facebook benefit from a Snapchat rip off? Will ANYTHING EVER be as good as the dog filter?
