You'll Be Playing Fallout 4 In Virtual Reality Next Year

Survival mode is going to be INTENSE.

The almighty Fallout 4 game is getting an overhaul to let gamers actually enter its world in virtual reality.

From Bethesda at E3, the news has come that a new version of Fallout 4 will be created that can work with an HTC Vive VR headset. The best part is the game will actually be ready to own as early as next year.

Bethesda marketing chief Pete Hines said: "If you thought that survival mode was an intense way to experienceFallout, you ain't seen nothing yet."

As if all that wasn't enough to have you throwing money at your screen, the company also announced there will be a VR version of Doom. That will deliver, as it says: "a virtual tour of hell". Time to invest in some new undies then.

Of course you'll need to own an HTC Vive VR headset and a computer with enough power to run the games in VR. But if a personal adventure through Fallout (or hell) sounds good to you then it’ll be worth every penny.
