Family Guy Gets A New Home At ITV2
The much-loved show will be heading to the BBC's rival channel later in 2015...
Family Guy is getting a brand new home at ITV later this year, as it's announced the popular animated series will premiere new episodes exclusively on the brand's youth channel, ITV2.
Beginning this autumn the Seth MacFarlane created show will say goodbye to BBC Three, though not entirely with repeat episodes being aired until 2017.
As part of the new deal, ITV2 will also see MacFarlane's other animated comedy shows American Dad!, The Cleveland Show and new series Bordertown join them.
ITV's Director of Television, Peter Fincham, said: "Seth MacFarlane's shows have firmly established him as the comedy voice of choice for an entire generation.
“Seth is sharp, hugely irreverent and brilliantly funny which is reflected in his fantastic shows. We are delighted to be welcoming him and his comic creations to ITV."
Twentieth Century Fox Television's Marion Edwards added: "Family Guy is one of our most important, iconic series and we are very excited about this new collaboration.
“We are confident that this extraordinary series will not only bring its loyal fanbase to ITV, but will also be embraced by an entirely new set of fans."
