Who runs the account?

Hello, my name is Peter! I'm 17 and from Germany. I'm a student at a secondary school and after it I want to go to a high school.

How long have you been a fan of Iggy Azalea?

I’ve been a big fan of Iggy Azalea since 2013. In my summer vacation that year I was bored and watched Wireless Festival on MTV Live HD. After performances from other artists, Iggy came on. I thought, ‘who's that talented woman?!’ After she performed 'Beat Down', 'Murda Bizness', 'Bounce' etc. I fell in love with her.

At the end she performed 'Work’, one of my favourite songs to date. It was a very special day. I don't know what happened to me but after that performance, I was thinking about her all the time and needed to know more about that girl. I just searched 'Iggy Azalea' on YouTube and watched all of her videos, interviews etc the next day.

Why are you a fan of Iggy Azalea?

I'm a fan of Iggy, because she's one of the best rappers out there making different types of rap/hip-hop music and always looking like a goddess while being so inspiring for every person who has had hard times. Iggy shows us that every dream you have can come true if you work hard on it, believe in yourself and never give up no matter what other people say.

Without her I wouldn't be the strong person that I am today. I'm so thankful she exists. Iggy is a very down to earth person, thankful for everything she gets and lovely to everyone, especially to her fans. She's doing everything for us. She is online sometimes on Twitter for like five hours or more to connect with her fans (Azaleans) and this makes me feel like she's my best friend and also my big sister. She's always there for me when I have a question and I'm very proud to be an Azalean. It's like we Azaleans are a big family and Iggy is our mother.

How much time do you devote to running the account?

I'm on Twitter everyday when I have time. I have one of the biggest pages about Iggy and I'm trying to do my best to be a professional page to give all the latest news and updates to all the Azaleans around the world. It's my hobby and sometimes like a job. I have fun doing it and I can't imagine stopping doing it.

Has Iggy Azalea ever noticed the account? Retweeted? Liked? If so, when?

OMG yesss! Iggy has been following me now for almost two years. She’s liked and retweeted already, saw many of my tweets and talked with me. The first time she saw my account was in 2014 I think.

How did that make you feel?

I don't know how to explain, but I was so happy and thankful. I still can't believe that it happened!

What's your favourite Iggy Azalea song and why?

It's very hard to decide because I love all of her songs but if I have to pick one I would say 'Work'. The song tells her whole story about how difficult it was to become a rapper and how hard she worked for it. Today she is one of the biggest rappers of our generation. 'Work' is also one of her most personal songs and has a very magical feeling to me.

What makes Iggy Azalea different to other female solo artists?

That she is unique. She's a white female rapper from Australia. I don’t think we will ever get someone like her again. Iggy is a great performer. During her dancing she's rapping very fast and not every rapper out there has this talent. She's also one of the strongest female artists because she was getting so much hate (which she never deserved to get) but she is still doing her thing, and with her next era #DigitalDistortion coming very soon, she will make history!
