Because the finale of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them left almost everything unresolved, details about what the plot of the second installment has to offer have become like actual golddust to Harry Potter fans.
In lieu of the fact J.K. Rowling doesn't do anything by halves, she's now released four - yes, four - blogposts explaining what we should all expect from the the upcoming sequel to Newt Scamander's magnificent story.
What the new information suggests is that Newt (played by Eddie Redmanye, obv) is going to team up with a young Albus Dumbledore (controversial casting, Jude Law) in an effort to bring Johnny Depp's Grindelwald down once and for all.
In terms of setting, we now know that the plot will take place between the years of 1926 and 1945 and that the location will span New York, London, and Paris like some kind of international fashion line by Madam Malkin.
Other tidbits of information that are worth noting; Tina, Queenie, and Jacob will all be returning. As will Credence - who despite seemingly exploding at the end of Fantastic Beasts - will somehow find a way to leave his "mysterious" mark on the film.
There's also a bunch of new characters to take into account including a bounty hunter called Grimmson, a wizard called Yusuf Kama, and the owner of a wizarding circus who goes by the name Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
The new Fantasic Beasts film is set for release on 16th November 2018 with the next three installments set to follow in due course over the next seven years. Spectacular.
