David Tennant: 'I Could Star In Fantastic Four'

Former Time Lord registers his interest for lead role in Marvel movie...

Former Doctor Whostar David Tennanthas thrown his hat into the ring for one of the lead roles in the forthcoming movie reboot of Marvel's Fantastic Four.
The 41-year-old confessed to Collider that he is probably a bit long in the tooth to play many superheroes - but did have one idea.
"I'm a bit old for a lot of [the comic book roles] now, which is a terrible, alarming truth," he told the site.
"Who could I be? I could probably still do Reed Richards - Mr Fantastic. I don't know."
And it just so happens that there is [uuid=bf8176a5-016b-46fe-bf81-68bb864d80dc]a reboot of the Fantastic Four in the pipeline[/uuid], with British producer Matthew Vaughn (of Kick-Ass fame) reportedly working on it.

Tennat was recently pictured [uuid=0f4b785a-d76b-4f95-abe8-34fe55609296]with current Doctor Who Matt Smith at a script reading[/uuid].
