One savvy shopper decided not to spend her hard earned money on a choker from a store, because these necklaces are apparently the easiest DIY job you'll ever do.

Instead, Katie Rosebrook just providedus the biggest fashion hack by simply using one of hershoelaces from her Nike trainers to tie round her neck.

We mean, seriously, how good is that gonna… ok it actually looks pretty good.

She's become a bit of an internethero sincetweeting the picture along with the caption: "This choker trend is wild y'all i wore a shoelace to the bars last night & i've never gotten so many compliments thanks @nike just do it lol".

She even told Buzzfeed:“I was pretty sure everyone would just wonder why I was wearing a shoelace, but only one person noticed the entire night.I see so many people spend a good amount of money on necklaces like this, and I thought it was funny that mine was free and got so many compliments."
