Kanye West And Adidas Are Launching A Full Yeezy Line And Stand Alone Stores
Want more Kanye West in your life? Prepare for the full Yeezy x Adidas line, now set to be a full clothing line and to have stand alone stores. Full story at MTV.co.uk
What with Kanye West's Yeezy collaboration with Adidas being sell out success after sell out success, it comes as no surprise to hear that the rapper and the brand are planning to extend the line in the coming months.
It doesn't stop at another New York Fashion Week show either and it's been revealed that there are plans to expand the sportswear line and introduce stand alone Yeezy stores where you can snap up merch to your heart's content.
The product range is apparently set to include way more items too and you can expect shoes, accessories and both streetwear and sportswear to be included in the new and improved line.
The design will be headed up by Kanye but he'll be working with a creative team based at the Adidas headquarters over in Portland, Oregon.
Naturally Adidas are over the moon about this development and are describing the collaboration as "the most significant partnership ever created between a non-athlete and an athletic brand."
Kanye also seems quite keen, potentially partly because we're guessing this is going to help sort out some of the $53million of debt he said he is in during a Twitter rant earlier this year.
“These past two years Adidas and Yeezy have given a glimpse into our future," he says of the collab. "This partnership illustrates that anyone with a dream can dream without limitations.”
Either way this is good news for us all, because who doesn't want to encourage a high fashion brand that finally gives us an excuse to wear leggings and still feel on trend?
