Good News, You Can Now Buy A Pair Of $140 Crocs That Feature In-Built Socks
Exactly what we've always wanted.
Proving that crocs are well on their way to becoming cool af, the brand have recently decided to team up with New York City streetwear label Alife to drop a collection of surreal designs.
As everyone knows, one of the major downsides of purchasing a pair of holey shoes is that some serious consideration suddenly needs to be given to your sock drawer.
Let's get checking out whether a bunch of regular guys can apply false lashes...
Never again will people have to scramble under their bed to search for matching options because – from June 14th – the world will finally blessed with a pair of crocs that come with in-built socks.
According to Fashionista, the ‘Sport’ design is priced at $140, and while some fans are concerned about how they should wash the shoe (who had even considered this?) others were all about the practicality of the design.
The label’s founder and chief creative officer, Rob Cristofaro said of the partnership: “Most of what we do at Alife is stemming from design and creative before actual fashion. And as an object, Crocs have always been appealing to me.
“The tube sock was a staple for me while growing up in New York in the 1970s. In the boroughs of New York, you would see kids rocking socks with the Adidas slides. The concept was really to take something as next-level as a Croc and mix it with these elements.”
Anyone who isn’t fully convinced by the croc-sock design might be more interested in shelling out $600 to buy a pair that feature a 3D representation of the New York skyline. Life is wonderful.
