Kendall Jenner Just Landed Her First US Vogue Cover. Sort Of.
A seriously dreamy swimwear shot.
While Kendall Jenner has already walked for the biggest designers and landed some pretty major campaigns in her time, she's yet to land arguably the biggest magazine cover of them all: American Vogue.
That is at least until now, as it's just ben announced that Kendall has landed a cover. Well, sort of.
As it turns out, Kennny J will be covering a special edition of the April issue, which is a cover of the mag, but one that's primarily available to subscribers in New York and LA.
Still, there's no denying that she looks a billion dollars in the pic, which sees her working some serious barefaced chic in a black bikini and a somewhat flamenco inspired cover up. Even more interesting is that it's accompanied by an article exploring Kendall's career and explains that her success largely comes down to just how hard she works, not just in front of the camera, but in using her canny business brain to support her work using her social media channels.
Having landed the most liked pic on Instagram last year with that candid photo of her hair arranged into heart shapes, Kendall clearly knows a good pic, but actually she reveals that she never thought it would be so successful, and nearly didn't post it at all.
“I was having a bad day. I wasn’t in the flow. I was like, Everyone sucks. That’s when I did my best image,” she tells Vogue.
“I was lying in bed and messing with it. And I thought, Is this good? And I just posted it, and I remember looking at it right away and having a lot of likes and saying, ‘Huh.’ ”
Basically there's no getting away from the face that she's a total #GirlBoss. Are we right or are we right?
