There's nothing worse than turning up at a party wearing the same dress as someone else, but us normals aren't the only ones this happens to and as it turns out, despite having the pick of the fanciest designers around, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian have been caught wearing the same look.

Luckily for these two, they didn't 'actually' wear it to the same event but given their recent - *ahem* - falling out following a disagreement over the use and contextof Taylor's name in Kanye West's song 'Famous', it does make this a touch awkward.

To be fair, Taylor was the first to wear this one and rocked the slithery, silver dress by Vetements for one of the shots that featured in her American Vogue cover shoot for the May issue earlier this year.

Given that this was the shoot she cut her hair short and bleached it white blonde for, it was a pretty major style moment for TayTay and there's absolutely no denying that she looks fierce as hell in the dress, which was simply paired with a towering pair of heeled biker boots and a slick of her signature red lipstick.

After that, you'd think there'd be no way to wear this dress better. But then along comes Kimmy K, who casually worked the look out and about in New York earlier this week.

Naturally she had to attempt to one-up Taylor and pulled the ultimate trump card when she wore it hand in hand with North West, who was wearing a tiny matching replica of the sequin covered dress.

But the real question is, who do you reckon wore it best?
