Little Mix Come Clean About Why They Always Wear Leotards On Stage
Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have been criticised for 'sexing' up their image in the past.
It's not like Little Mix need to justify their choice of (incredible) outfits, but regardless the girls have opened up about why leotards are their go-to ensemble when it comes to doing their thing on stage.
The girls have received a bit of stick in the past for dressing a touch too revealing for their younger fans and now Jade Thirlwall and the rest of the gang have explained that it's all in the name of saving them from a certain inevitable human function.

If you haven't already caught on we're talking about sweat here, and with those perfectly executed dance routines paired with belting out their high-energy pop tunes it wouldn't surprise us if the girls wound up sweating more than you would on your average Joe Wicks HIIT sesh.
Jade confirmed our suspicions to the Mail Online, explaining: "I don't think we're sexing ourselves up. We're sweating our t*ts off on stage and we want to wear leotards!"
"It's comfortable to dance in and we're doing an hour and a half set, we're not going to come on to the stage in a tracksuit - it's just not practical," added the singer.
Makes total sense! Lets face it, seeing the girls work it in their leotards is far less traumatising than seeing them pass out due to the heat.
Perrie Edwards also chimed in, admitting that she's SO over all the outfit criticism: "We could wear a frickin' bin liner on stage and people would complain. We could wear a full bodysuit.. We've been in the industry for six years, we're tired of it all now and all the comments."
Tbh Pez you could get up there in literally anything and we would be all over it.
So there you have it, despite their extraordinary talents it turns out these girls are only human after all. Who would have guessed it?
