Little Mix Have Fired Back At Those Slut Shaming Critics By Slaying In Their Teen Awards Outfits

The girls recieved A LOT of backlash for their outfits during their X Factor performance.

There's no doubt that Little Mix absolutely owned it at Radio 1's Teen Awards this weekend, notably slaying it in thestyle category with their choice of outfits.

The girlstoned down their lookfor their red carpet appearanceby dressingmore conservatively, which we're guessing is to make a bit of a statementafter all the backlash they'verecieved over the past week.

The LM girls -Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock -performed their new single 'Shout Out To My Ex' for the first time during The X Factor results show last week.

Whilst we thought they looked sassy AF as they danced around the stage in thigh high boots and leotards, the girls came under fire on social media for dressing 'inappropriately', with some viewerssaying they looked like 'strippers'.

Spice Girls member Mel C also added fuel to the fire by admittingthat the girlbandwere getting 'too provocative' for her daughter to watch them.

This didn't stop them from being their usual sassy selvesfor their Teen Awardsstage performance, though.Jesymade a serious statement to the critics with herstage outfitwhich read "Too provocative?" along the back.

Speaking on the red carpet at the awards, the band fired back at thecriticismthey'd received, by revealing thatthey only wear what they feel comfortable in.

Jade Thirlwall revealed to the Press Association: "It's all us. We know what we are wearing and to be honest we were like - we don't really know what the big deal was. It was really weird.

"Every woman that I've spoken to has said 'yes girl!'. We don't see what the problem is. And I think everyone's got to have something to say - so they picked that one", she added.

Go girls! We think you're all slaying at life right now...
