So, Werewolf Nail Art Is Probably The Weirdest Trend Yet
The world is a strange place sometimes.
When it comes to nail art, the weirder the better. From glow in the dark polishes to piles of crystals stuck all over them, we are down.
That is at least until it comes to channelling your inner werewolf and sticking patches of fake fur to your nail beds, as has been happening on the AW16 show runways at New York Fashion Week.
Yep, the latest weird beauty trend to hit the catwalks and now the internet is werewolf nails, which is just as it sounds and basically involves making your nails furry af.
Starting off at the Libertine show during NYFW, models were seen wearing grey, brown and white faux fur on their nails as they got ready backstage.
Whether this a nod to the 90s love of a pastel fur backpack or the designer just loves a bit of Tyler Posey in Teen Wolf, we're not sure. But what we do know is that the look has been making quite the statement with people starting to pick up the look on Instagram.
While it might look kinda cute and delicate on the runway, we're just not 100% convinced quite how this one is going to work out in real life.
Like, what about when it rains? Or when you just want to sneakily stick your fingers in the Nutella jar?
And don't even get us started about the toilet etiquette. *Shivers*
