Why Every Celeb Is Loving Revolve Right Now

The LA-based fashion site has found fans in Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski and Kim Kardashian…

It’s not a rarity for America’s rich and famous types to end up in the Hamptons in August, but this summer saw more models, It girls and Kardashians flock to the Long Island hotspot than ever before. Why? Well, because Californian online retailer Revolve set up home there, inviting style bloggers and the super famous to host events, party, mingle and – of course – share the fun on social media using #RevolveintheHamptons.

But where did Revolve come from and why are the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Emily Ratajkowski and Hailey Baldwin so into it?

Well, believe it or not, it’s been around since 2003. Co-founders Michael Mente and Mike Karanikolas initially started the site with a heavy focus on jeans, but Revolve has grown steadily to carry over 500 women’s and men’s brands, offering everything from undies to wedding dresses. Srsly.

Undeniably LA, a quick scroll through the site shows exactly why Kim K and co. rely on Revolve for their fashion fix: it’s a one-stop shop for California cool girl style. There are the collaborations with Nicole Richie’s label, House Of Harlow, and Alessandra Ambrosio’s Ale By Alessandra. Then there are the bodysuits and cut-offs worthy of Coachella. And, just to make everything super accessible for their VIP customers, Revolve have their own invite-only social club in LA where plenty of celeb gifting no doubt takes place.

Thankfully for us mere mortals, Revolve carries a huge amount of pieces under £100, from sweats by The Laundry Room to shoes and sneaks from Steve Madden, Vans and plenty more familiar brands. Or, if you’re feeling flush, they have an amazing selection of leather jackets and trousers, but you’ll be looking at upwards of £700 for these investment pieces.

Check out some of our fave Revolve styles in the gallery below – just don’t blame us if you end up buying them all…
