Vin Diesel and Co’s seventh outing has also joined Avatar and Titanic by becoming the third ever film to take more than $1bn internationally (not including US domestic takings).

James Cameron’s 'Avatar 'still remains the highest-grossing movie of all time, taking a cool $2,787,965, 087 in 2009, with 'Titanic' in second place after grossing $2,186,772,302 in 1997.
