Fast & Furious 7 Resuming Production In April
The team go back to work after the death of Paul Walker…
Production on Fast & Furious 7 will resume this April, Universal Studios has announced.
The action movie had been put on hold since the tragic death of star Paul Walker last November, but now it’s full steam ahead.
Production will begin on 1 April – giving director James Wan 12 months to complete the movie before its release, scheduled for 10 April 2015.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the shoot should take no more than eight weeks to complete.
The latest instalment of the action franchise was half completed when Walker died in a car crash in California. Following his death, rewrites were needed to retire his character and the release date was pushed back.
Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell and Tyrese Gibson star alongside Walker in the movie.
