There Are Going To Be HOW MANY More Fast & Furious Films?

Vin Diesel has announced that Fast & Furious will have "one final trilogy," according to a post published on his official Facebook page.

With the existing seven movies, the final "closing trilogy" will bring the franchise up to a very furious TEN MOVIES.

Or, in Vin-speak, three trilogies. Plus a sequel? Or... A musical?

Posting on Facebook, Diesel says:

“Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision... they have been like family... I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga.”

After Fast & Furious 7 won box office takings just as ginormous as its stunts - $1.5 billion worldwide – follow-up Fast 8 is scheduled to hit cinemas in 2018.

No director for the next one has been announced yet, but on a later Facebook post, Diesel teases: “All weekend long, my producing partner Neal, the Studio and myself have been mapping out the future of our SAGA... All aspects of the trilogy, including the announcement of it's respective directors, which is only building our excitement."

Phew. That’s a lotta skyscraper windows to replace.
