We were in full support of FCKH8.com’s F-Bombs For Feminism videolast month, but now there’s a part two - Girls F-Bomb Domestic Violence – and it makes for some pretty uncomfortable watching.

[related] Starting with one child posing as a wife beater – white vest, beer and all – the princesses then swear their way through domestic violence and rape statistics. So far, not too different from F-Bombs For Feminism.

Then the bruises, broken arms and bloody noses creep in, at which point it’s hard to look past the harrowing make-up, to see the well-intentioned message of the film.

Having experienced a controversial reaction to their swearing in F-Bombs, the girls then pre-empt the storm that will no doubt follow the release of this latest video, by asking “Got a problem looking at my fake f**ked up face?

“Isn’t one out of four women beaten?

“The real disgrace?

“We’re sick of violence against women and sexist bulls**t

“Quitbitching about us saying f**k and do something about it.”

Then the cheery adults jump in to advertise FCKH8.com’s line of anti-domestic violence T-shirts, which only sits uncomfortably beside their faux-beaten princesses.

Have FCKH8.com gone too far this time or is this the only effective way to raise awareness of domestic violence? One thing’s for sure, we can’t bring ourselves to watch Girls F-Bomb Domestic Violence again...
