Ferne McCann Breaks Down In Tears As She Opens Up For First Time About Pregnancy During Acid Attack Ordeal
Ferne McCann couldn’t hold back the tears on This Morning today, as she gave her first interview following her pregnancy announcement amid the acid attack scandal.
The former TOWIE star took the opportunity to tell Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby how thankful she is for all of the support she’s received, as well as what a tough time she’s understandably been going through.
"It has been such a stressful, surreal situation to be in that. I'm actually feeling good and positive because I’m pregnant that has given me strength and hope to get through this,” she said.
This comes after her then-boyfriend Arthur Collins was arrested in connection with an incident which involved two people being blinded in one eye after acid was thrown at a London nightclub.
As for what it was like to hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time, Ferne explained: "It was a massive relief. Leading up to that point, you're thinking I hope everything is OK with the baby. It's just a magical moment – it's mental, being pregnant."
She even managed to joke between the tears that she’s not exactly had an easy ride with the pregnancy symptoms.
"I've had all the symptoms – started off with the nausea, then the crazy headaches that led to vomiting, the morning sickness. I don't know why they call it morning sickness, because I've been sick morning, noon and night. But I'm feeling good."
While she didn’t shy away from the fact that this wasn’t exactly in her life plan.
"This isn't how I imagined my first pregnancy to be, but it's not about me, it's about this baby. My main concern and priority is the baby."
Well we know for a fact that you’re going to be an incredible mum, Ferne!
