Ferne McCann Confirms Her Pregnancy And Reveals She's Split With Acid Attack Suspect Arthur Collins
Ferne McCann has revealed that she's split from acid attack suspect Arthur Collins after confirming rumours that she's pregnant with his child.
In a statement, Ferne's rep announced: "Ferne is grateful for the sympathetic way news of her pregnancy has been covered and people's support and obviously her first concern is for her child's health.
"Accordingly she does not wish to discuss the pregnancy further given the early stage it is at and the immense strain that Ferne is currently under.
Pointing out that she is no longer in a relationship with Collins, her rep added: "Nor does she wish to discuss her ex-boyfriend who she does not recognise from the events of the last week.
"Ferne is in no way seeking sympathy for her situation and is determined to do all she can to have a happy and heathy child and face the challenges of being a single parent with all her energy. Her thoughts are with the victims of the horrific attack on Easter Monday."
Metropolitan Police have since confirmed that Collins has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, sharing the following statement:
"Arthur Collins, 25, was arrested at an address in Rushden, Northampts on Saturday night, 22 April by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime & Operations and Hackney Borough, with the assistance of armed officers from the East Midlands Operational Support Service (EMOpSS) and Northamptonshire Police. Collins has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He will be taken into custody at a London police station in due course."
The nightclub attack in East London left two people partially blinded and many others disfigured, with Collins being charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
