Ferne McCann Is 'Sick And Tired' Of Being Judged As A New Mum

The TOWIE star faced criticism for supposedly "downing shots" at the NTAs.

Ferne McCann has opened about what it’s really like to be criticised as a new mum after a bunch of reports claimed that she’d been “downing shots” at the NTAs only to carry on breastfeeding baby Sunday.

The TOWIE star has hit out at the speculation and clarified how upsetting it is reading false reports about herself.

'Let's get checking out an update from MTV News...'

In an interview with OK! Magazine, Ferne admitted that the criticism got under her skin: “It actually really upset me. I do absolutely everything for my little girl, she is my world - my biggest and greatest priority. The NTAs was my first night away from Sunday and I’d prepared so much for it.

She continued: “My mum came to the hotel so she could help with Sunday, and I’d expressed milk earlier so Mum could take Sunday home and feed her.

Ferne didn’t hold back on how the constant scrutiny has effected her first few months of motherhood.

“I am so sick of being judged continuously and as a new mum, I have never felt so judged. Being a new mum is pressure enough without having my every move scrutinised and falsified,” she lashed out.

And pointing out that she’s doing her best to keep the rumours in perspective, Ferne added: “As Sunday’s mum and sole carer, I know she’s happy and healthy and that’s all I am focusing on.”

That told them.
