Ferne McCann Reveals Daughter Sunday Will Have Weekly Visits With Arthur Collins In Prison

The TOWIE star previously vowed to limit their contact with her acid attack ex.

Ferne McCann has revealed that baby Sunday will have regular visits with her father in prison after ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins “asserted his parental rights” and asked to be involved in his daughter’s life.

The TOWIE star had previously claimed that she would limit the amount of contact her acid attack ex would have with their child but pointed out that she had recently sought legal advice and changed her mind.

'Let's get checking out a bunch of celebrities with seriously shocking pasts...'

Speaking to The Mirror, the 27-year-old said: "He [Arthur Collins] has asserted his parental rights and I sought professional advice. I made a decision that [Sunday] will still be seeing him - and that's the situation I'm in now."

Collins is currently serving out a 20-year sentence after being convicted of carrying out an acid attack in a Dalston nightclub. He’s being held at HMP Full Sutton in York, which means Ferne and Sunday will have to carry out a 440 mile tripto visit him.

The First Time Mum star has vowed that the weekly visits will continue until Sunday is “old enough to make up her own mind” about her father, and previously told The Sun that she feels this is the best decision she can make at this point.

“It is a huge thing to have to make decisions you are forced into. I have to think of Sunday and what is best for her. It hasn’t been an easy decision and some people may think I’m wrong. But the last thing I want to do is hide what is going on.

She went on to add that her daughter remains her number one priority: “I’m with Sunday every day of her life... I am doing this so she can make her own choice when she’s older, rather than me forcing it on her now. I hope it is the right decision, and I think it is."
