Ferne McCann's friends are said to be worried for her after now ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins was arrested and charged over an acid attackin Dalston just after findingout she was pregnant with his child.

While Ferne has released a statement to confirm she's focusing all her attention on her unborn child, her TOWIE friends are concerned that she's shutting herself away from the people who care the most about her.

An insider told The Sun: "We had no idea [she was pregnant]. It’s really worrying – we don’t know what she’s going to do now, it’s really sad, we’re all here for her but she’s not speaking to anyone. We don’t even know where she is.
She wouldn’t have wanted it to be like this. It’s really sad…she isn’t getting to celebrate being pregnant like other first time mums – she doesn’t deserve this, she is a lovely girl and she deserves only happiness. Everyone is really concerned for her."

Her representative said: "Ferne is in no way seeking sympathy for her situation and is determined to do all she can to have a happy and healthy child and face the challenges of being a single parent with all her energy."

After a week-long manhunt, Arthur Collins was eventually arrested withfifteen chargesoverthe nightclub attack: fourteen counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and one count of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
