5 Things We Loved About Lost Village Festival 2018
The Outfits
From the minute you arrive it’s feathers and sequins galore. Leave any clothes that have even an air of normality at home, as they won’t be needed here! Bring your most weird and wonderful attire and be prepared for pure festival fabulousness all weekend long.
The Music
Lost Village has a marvellously eclectic line up. Plan some time into your itinerary to wander and discover acts you haven’t heard of before. A favourite we stumbled across was the Hyde Park Brass because who doesn’t want to jump around in the sunshine to a brass band playing ‘Move it Move it’? Other stand out sets were Friendly Fire’s energy filled performance at the Burial Ground and Denis Sulta’s 80’s disco groove in the Junkyard.
Getting Lost
We know, the clue was in the name but ironically enough we did love getting lost at Lost Village. Make sure to take yourself down the woodland path and discover magical stages and situations at every twist and turn. We’ll say no more…
Tribal Banquet
Enjoying one of the banquets at Lost Village is a MUST. Take yourself off for a couple of hours of luxury and fine dining… you deserve it. The long tables mean you are sat with your fellow festival goers and we challenge you to try and get through the whole thing without making a new friend, we made a whole bunch! The food is nothing less than exquisite and paired with some tasty cocktails and delicious wine… what more could you want?
The Lake Of Tranquility
For a few moments of peace / a great shot for Instagram head to the Lake of Tranquility. The setting is beautiful any time of the day or night so make sure to take some time out your weekend for a wander around this very tranquil lake indeed.
