Kasabian will headline this years Great Escape festival in Brighton which takes place in May.

The multi-venue music extravaganza will also host gigs by Little Boots, Cage The Elephant, Black Lips, British Sea Power and Lightspeed Champion.

The Great Escape takes place May 14-16 across 34 venues and will have 300 acts playing around the seaside town.

The Pipettes, Liam Finn, Holy F*ck, Mongrel and Ipso Facto have also been announced to play today.
