The Shoreditch Shoestring Festival
The world comes to town this Sunday
To celebrate the launch of internet-based adventure travel company Shoestring, a brand new free festival is bringing a slice of the globe to London's achingly fashionable Shoreditch this Sunday, September 9.
Kicking off at noon a diverse group of artists from around the world will be performing at venues along the capital's Curtain Road, allowing you to travel the globe without leaving East London!
Latin-American music sensation Marta Toperova will be starting the day in a cha-cha-cha style at the Strongrooms, while Teddy and Tony, aka Brit-hop duo The Mitchell Brothers, perform at Bar Music Hall in the afternoon.
African jazz songstress Netsayi brings her smooth, soul sounds to El Paso early in the evening before new music scene legend Hoodman ends the evening at the Pool Bar.
Sound good? We ran a competition and one lucky winner got to attend VIP style: James Brown. Congratulations!
Visit the festival website for full details of who's playing when.
