We knew we were going to go wild for Fifth Harmony's performance at the VMAs but we didn't think they'd kick it off like this...

Did you just see five members suddenly become four? Yep that just happened. As the girls whipped off their hoods, the middle member was knocked off their feet as the foursome broke into 'Angel.'

Was that a reference to Camila Cabello's departure at the end of last year? We're saying NOTHING.

Ally, Normani, Dinah and Lauren then took the same leap of faith, trust-falling backwards before re-emerging to hit us square in the face with 'Down.'

Gucci Mane joined for his verse, along with his fiancée Keyshia Ka'oir to serenade her before the heavens opened on the stage leaving our girls sodden through but still looking perfect.

Earlier in the night, the foursome tearfully accepted the VMA for Best Pop Video for 'Down', and having just released their brand new album, we're going to go ahead and saying they're having the best weekend EVER.
