Charlie Hunnam 'Got Cold Feet' Over Fifty Shades

Rumour mill creaks into action after shock departure from movie project...

Rumours have been circulating about the reasons behind Charlie Hunnam's exit from the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the British actor had been overwhelmed by the attention generated by his casting and had got cold feet.
It claims to have been told by a source that Hunnam, 33, had no problem with the role or the contents of the movie - but had been unprepared for the fan reaction - much of which was negative after his name was announced.
Meanwhile HollywoodLife.com quoted another source, alleging that he 'did' have concerns about the content.
"Charlie got cold feet. He wanted to get out of the movie because he was feeling like it would be his version of Showgirls and he didn't want to be remembered for that.
"Nor is Charlie ready for the celebrity he would receive if the movie worked out."
And the site also claims that the movies' producers were not unhappy about his departure.
"Add that with the studio execs being highly disappointed by the reaction to the casting, they wanted to start over with a clean slate."
