Charlie Hunnam: "Jamie Dornan Will Do A Great Job"

Charlie Hunnam has said he's sure his replacement Jamie Dornan will "do a great job" in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

 

Sons of Anarchy star Hunnam was originally cast in the role of kinky businessman Christian Grey, but dropped out of the project in mid October citing issues with his "immersive TV schedule".

 

When he was approached by TMZ this week, Hunnam was asked for his thoughts on his replacement Dornan.

 

The 33-year-old hunk replied: "I'm sure he'll do a great job."

 

He continued: "I don't really know his work, but I know Sam [Taylor-Johnson], the director, is amazing, she has fantastic taste so I'm sure he'll do a great job."

 

Dornan's casting was announced by author EL James in late October, with the 31-year-old actor since appearing in character alongside co-star Dakota Johnson for a shoot with Entertainment Weekly.
