Has Cara Lost Fifty Shades Lead To Emilia Clarke?
Supermodel reported to be out of the running to play Anastasia Steele...
Cara Delevingne is reported to have been passed over for the female lead role in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The Sun newspaper reports that the role of Anastasia Steele is now expected to go to Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke - but that Cara could still be in with a shout for a smaller part.
The 21-year-old supermodel is claimed to have auditioned for the big-screen version of the erotic bestseller back in June, but Clarke is now said to be the producers' favourite for the role.
Asked about Cara, a source in Hollywood told the paper: "The lead role was not something that was offered."
But it was suggested that a different part could be made available.
It was recently denied that Charlie Hunnam had been cast as the male lead.
