Jake Gyllenhaal: 'I'd Consider Fifty Shades'
Jake Gyllenhaal has declared that he is flattered to be linked to one of the lead roles in the forthcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey - and says he would consider the job.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM, the Hollywood star confessed that he didn't even know he'd been mooted as a possible candidate to play Christian Grey.
"That's super flattering," he said. "I mean, I have not heard that, but if that's true then that's a nice thing. It's always nice to be considered."
And when Seacrest asked if he'd consider accepting the role, Gyllenhaal answered: "Yeah, of course! I always want to work, man, of course."
Meanwhile author EL James has said that she is refusing to name her ideal cast for the movie version of her book - in case things get awkward if it doesn't work out.
She told E! Online: "It gets messy. You might end up with somebody else."
