Melanie Griffith: I'm Not Going To See Fifty Shades Movie
Actress says it would be 'too awkward' to see her daughter in sex scenes...
If you're planning on getting out to see the movie version of Fifty Shades Of Grey as soon as it hits the cinemas, then don't worry about finding Melanie Griffith in front of you at the queue for the box office.
The veteran actress has revealed that she has no plans to see the adaptation of EL James' erotic novel - despite having loved the book.
But the 57-year-old said neither she nor ex-hubby Don Johnson plan to go and see their daughter Dakota Johnson playing Anastasia Steele on the big screen.
"I read all the books before I knew she was doing the movie," she told Extra.
"I really loved the books. I think everybody loved the books and everybody read them even though a lot of people will say that they didn't read them.
"But I think that I'm never going to see the movie myself. I don't think Don will ever see the movie.
"It would just be too awkward, she, I think, would be mortified if we ever came to see her movie.
"She said, 'You can see it up until I lose my virginity and that's it.'"
