This Amazing Lego Fifty Shades Of Grey Trailer Is Everything
Promo for steamy movie gets plastic makeover from creative duo...
We can't decide whether this Lego spoof of the Fifty Shades Of Grey trailer is cute or funny or sexy, or all of the above.
The two-minute "Fifty Shades Of Bricks" short was created by stop-motion animators Antonio and Andrea Toscano and re-creates every moment from the actual movie trailer, using only the iconic Danish toy.
And thanks to the use of the original audio track and Beyoncé's saucy version of Crazy In Love, the chemistry is surprisingly intact.
We were almost worried that Ana and Christian were going to melt the plastic in THAT elevator scene.
The Toscanos have previously made Lego versions of the trailers for Star Trek Into Darkness and Man Of Steel.
But they aren't the only ones with the soon-to-be-released bonkbuster in their sights.
Vanessa Bayer of Saturday Night Live stars in a reimagining of the elevator scene, in which she lurks in a lift and hilariously fails to seduce a series of men (and a couple, and a woman) with her clumsy come-ons.
One tells her: "Your phone's ringing," as a buzzing sound becomes audible, and she replies: "That's not my phone."
And she dangles a pair of shiny metals balls on a string in front of a woman and asks: "Do you know what these are?
"They're not Christmas decorations, I'll tell you that much."
The real Fifty Shades Of Grey hits cinemas on 13 February.
