The Hole 3D's Star And Director Talk To FILMCLUB
Joe Dante and Chris Massoglia get a grilling from young interviewers
The Hole 3D is one of the most highly anticipated films of the Autumn, and FILMCLUB – the nationwide after-school initiative and experts in films for young people, took two junior reporters to interview the film’s leading actor Chris Massoglia (Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant) and director Joe Dante (Gremlins, InnerSpace) to get the low-down on the next big movie hit, which is released in UK cinemas today (Weds Sept 22nd).
Callum Bates and Harry Clayton (both 13-years-old) from Surrey were the teenagers were the only junior reporters to interview the Dante and Massoglia during their UK press trip to promote the movie, and asked them about the film, their roles – and what they would be afraid of to find if there was a hole in their basement!
On facing his own worst fears in the Hole, director Joe Dante revealed that rather than being scared of ghost, ghouls or indeed Gremlins he feared having no money, whilst rising star Massolglia revealed being locked away in jail forever terrifies him….
