Finding Dory Plot, Location And Cast Revealed

Sequel to Finding Nemo will be set in marine rehabilitation centre...

Details have been officially confirmed regarding the long-awaited sequel to Finding Nemo.

Disney Pixar president Jim Morris has told Slashfilm that the majority of the film will take place at the Marine Biology Institute of California - which is a sizeable rehab facility for marine life.

Focusing on Nemo's hyperactive blue friend Dory - to be voiced again by Ellen DeGeneres - the sequel will see her discover that she was born at the institute before being released into the sea at a young age.

She then sets off to visit the facility to try to find her parents - who are set to be voiced by Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton.

Meanwhile two of the biggest stars from acclaimed TV drama The Wire have reportedly both been cast as yet-to-be-revealed characters.

Idris Elba and Dominic West (aka Stringer Bell and McNulty) are thought to be joining Albert Brooks, Willem Dafoe and others in the voice cast.

The film is set for release in June 2016.
