7. Stick to booze and soda

Sometimes it’s just not realistic to say you are cutting out alcohol all together. But if you have a drink then stick to spirits and soda water. Vodka, tequila and whisky are the lowest in calories. And stay away from caffeine-filled drinks like Red Bull. Apart from the fact they are high in sugar, theyreverse the relaxant effects of alcohol, causing you to drink more.

Keep adding ice to your fizzy drinks or alcohol so you don’t feel the need to refill as much. It also waters down the alcohol which will help with that hang.

9. Chew gum to curb cravings

Now, this won’t work if you’re hungry as it will only trick your stomach into thinking you’re eating, increase production of stomach acid and make you hungrier. BUT if your cravings are out of boredom then chew some gum to satisfy the feeling of eating.

10. Put cinnamon in your coffee

If you love a sugar in your coffee then swap it out for cinnamon. Not only is it lower in calories but it boosts your immune system.

11. Put the junk food in hiding

If you can’t see the bad food in your house then the less likely you are to snack on it. Keep healthy snacks that you actually enjoy eating readily available to munch on and keep those bad ones for when you REALLY need them. I.e. your period / you’ve been dumped / it’s Monday.
